My Neighbor Alice : Land Sale Announcement
Hello Neighbors!
We know that you have waited for this moment, and we are so glad to announce that our land sale will go live on Monday, August 1st 2022 and will last 15 days. In this land sale, you will also have the opportunity to get a land plot for FREE!
The release of our marketplace was an important step for us, and we wanted to offer our neighbors what they asked for: a marketplace to trade their lands, the possibility to access new primary land sales and play the Alpha Season 1, which will be extended to August 31st. It will allow all neighbors that could not buy a land plot before to still play this Season!
How does this land sale work?
1000 plots of land from Tourney Wolds region within Medieval Plains island will be minted and made available to the community via our brand new marketplace.
- A total of 975 plots of land will be auctioned off over 5 different waves, starting from Monday August 1st to Monday August 15th (each wave of auctions will occur every 3 to 4 days).
- A total of 25 plots of land (5 for each wave) will instead be given away (yes, for free!) via a lottery to the participants of the auctions at the end of the land sale.
If you place a bid and don’t win the auction, you still have a chance to get a piece of land & be one of the lucky winners!
How to participate in the land sale?
The lands on auction will appear on the “primary sales” page in our marketplace.
The auction will last 24h and the countdown starts when the first bid is placed. However, a new highest bid placed under 30 mins remaining will extend the auction by an additional 30 mins.
Please don’t forget to have enough ALICE tokens in your wallet (equal to or higher than the current bidding price of the land) to be able to place a bid and enough BNB to pay the gas fee!
How does the lottery work?
The lottery will be run after all the plots auctioned off during the waves are sold. If you place at least one bid during the land sale and you do not win any auction, it will give you the opportunity to win a plot of land for free. The more bids you place, the greater the chance of winning a land plot in the lottery. It means that, for instance, if you place two bids on two land plots that are on auction in the primary market or two bids on the same land, you will have x2 chance to win the lottery compared to a bidder who placed only one bid.
All the bids placed during the auctions are recorded, and, at the end of the land sale, 25 lucky winners will be randomly extracted (please take into consideration that you can only win ONE land plot)!
Which currency & wallet can I use to buy a plot on the marketplace?
You can only use ALICE tokens to place a bid, while gas fees will be paid in BNB.
The only wallet supported in our marketplace is Metamask. You have to set the Binance Smart Chain network in your wallet.
What happens after I place a bid?
Tokens will be deducted from your wallet the moment you place the bid. If someone else places a higher bid, you will receive tokens back in your wallet. If you win the auction, you’ll be able to claim the land plot within your profile page.
We hope that you get your land. If not, don’t worry: different land sales will frequently occur in the neighborhood!
