We have important news to share with you:

Today we share our long-awaited roadmap, which includes several exciting milestones, activities, and incentives for our token holders and players. - Seasonal release model — launching Q2 2022
Our new roadmap introduces and outlines several ‘Alpha Seasons’. Each will see us build out more of the My Neighbor Alice world in a testnet environment. Our first Season will be launched in Q2 2022.
Why do we need a new roadmap?
As you all know, defining the scope of a gaming project in advance is a tricky business. We understand how much curiosity and anticipation there is on your side and believe this roadmap will help you get a clear view of our progress and milestones — but also of the time and care we put into developing the features, art, components, and characters we hope you’ll love.
The game’s core mechanics, components, and features all have to be developed for the blockchain. It means that we are no longer working within the confines of traditional game design but are instead exploring the uncharted shores of blockchain gaming. We need to make sure that everything we do works in a self-sustained, secure, and decentralized way. Over time, My Neighbor Alice will transition to a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO).
Consistent progress has been made, and as we progress our delivery estimates become increasingly accurate. We will continue communicating with the community regularly to reflect on the current state of development.
What have we been working on?
We strengthened and expanded our team to meet the long-term build quality standards we are aiming for. In the last three months, the Alice team grew by 100% on both the development and operations sides — making our team the largest, most talented, and diverse it has ever been.
Along with the bolstering of our personnel, our executive team has charted a new course for the project that has a realistic timeline, contains more incremental milestones, and most importantly raises the bar in terms of final build quality and playability.
We are dedicated to delivering a high-quality game and are more excited than ever for the world we are creating together with our growing team. Furthermore, we feel confident our roadmap is robust.
What’s next?
Our roadmap outlines several ‘Alpha Seasons’. Each will see us build out more of the My Neighbor Alice world in a testnet environment until the completion of the game and mainnet (aka public) launch.
We intend to hit the ground running with the launch of our ‘Alpha Seasons’ model in Q2 2022. Each new season will have its share of upgrades, incremental improvements, and additional components until our vision for My Neighbor Alice is fully realized with the full launch of the mainnet game.
